Carl E. Lemke, Sr. November 17, 1933 – April 9, 2018 San Diego Carl Lemke, Sr., 84, passed away April 9, 2018 at St. Paul’s Villa in San Diego.
The lifelong Mission Hills resident attended San Diego High School before serving in the Army during the Korean War. He was awarded The Bronze Star.
A senior title engineer for Ticor Title Insurance for 37 years, he loved the desert and was a part-time resident of Borrego Springs for nearly 25 years.
Mr. Lemke is survived by his wife of 60 years, the former Valerie Roesch; sons Carl “Ned” (Nancy) and Craig (Christina), daughter Caroline (Ron) Dipping; and six grandchildren, all of San Diego. He will be deeply missed. A private service will be held at Miramar National Cemetery.
