Well your SDHS Cavers are doing very well. If you have not heard, your Cavers varsity football team not only won the City League Championship, the SD CIF Div 4 Championship, Southern Calif. CIF Regional Championship but won the CIF Div. 5 State Championship.

To win that championship your Cavers had to travel to Colfax, Calif which is approximately 1 hour north of Sacramento. Facing 44-degree weather, and being the only high school team to play at a non-neutral site, your Cavers overcame a 21 point deficit at halftime to win 42-31. The first CIF Championship since 1969. The SDHS students, staff, school administration, and fan helped raise $22K in one week to help pay for the trip to Colfax.
